Schooling Is In Session of the Day: 17-year-old Don’t Flop regular Bradley “Blizzard” Green learns an important lesson about losing a rap battle from his English teacher, Mark Grist.
(Starts @ 2:20.)
[b3ta.]
This is actually pretty cool. A teacher paired with a student for a rap battle. This underground rap scene, I think, is great. I’ve always paired rapping with bards or lyricists of old and this emergence gives me hope in the English language persevering beyond the txtspk plaguing schools.

Inklings to Fables: A Good Reason Why I Don't Date
I can’t stand the cutesy bullshit. I really can’t. And perhaps it’s best that I don’t, because it’s all fake and phony and terribly degrading.
Everything from public shows of affection to facebook comments to hammy lines about endless adoration and eternal love… especially when no one in this…
Sorry for it recently. I understand those reasons, but then, you have to start somewhere to get to the point of that spiritual togetherness. I don’t date to date; the purpose of dating is to find someone to be with that closely. PDA may function more than declaring a cutesy love. For me it’s just…at least, showing from where I’ve been to where I am now. It’s refreshing, uplifting, to have any sort of genuine good feelings for someone. The PDA is also, for me, used to mark moments in my life. The “Timeline” on Facebook or whatever is how I’ve always visualized my internet life and I use it thusly, to mark moments in time to remember.
It is easy to overdo it and go all out Hollywood in relationships. But, then, are they genuine? or a manufactured story of something that’s not real in the first place? Avett Brothers “Love Like the Movies” sums that up for me. Anyways, end short rant response to rant, ha.

“…to me, Van Gogh is the finest painter of them all.Certainly, the most popular, great painter of all time, the most beloved. His command of color the most magnificent. He transformed the pain of his tormented life into ecstatic beauty.Pain is easy to portray, but to use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificence of our world…no one had ever done it before. Perhaps, no one ever will again. To my mind, that strange, wild man who roamed the fields of Provence was not only the world’s greatest artist, but also one of the greatest men who ever lived.” - [x]
No stop. ;_; I can’t take Van Gogh crying.
Oh nonononononono, why would you post this? Because I’m just going to spontaneously burst into essence of sadness :’(
One of my favorite episodes, ever.

Oh, nothing big…
…but just got off a conference call with a client representing the U.N. in NYC. She’s flying out to Ethiopa Friday to go meet with a few African foreign ministers who’re going to be receiving their iPads (eventually every African nation will have one) with an app I designed to help cure malaria in Africa. Me, excited? No, no, not at all.
Oh! And writing up a one-pager on how to use the app that’s going to be translated in to French, Portuguese, Spanish and Arabic. I’m excited.
Working on a site redesign. Here’s the first draft. Comments anyone?
